This year for Christmas, Heather gave me a truck and I gave her a trailer. We purchased a 2017 Ford F-250, and a 2018 RPOD 176. On our first RV trip, we traveled along the Columbia River to Moses Lake and back. It might have been cold, but we sure enjoyed our outing thanks to the propane heater in the trailer.
On this trip, we learned what some of the challenges are when it comes to towing and living in a small trailer.
We stayed at the following places during this outing:
- Rest area near Hood River, Oregon
- Mardon Resort at the Potholes reservoir
- Boondocked by Avery Recreation Area
- Got free camping at Blue Creek Boat launching ramp on the Cowlitz river
